whew! i'm all dizzy-like.
i started a master cleanse fast today. i used to do it twice a year, but haven't done one in about 3 years. lord knows i do some absolutely atrocious things to my body, so i am trying to make nicey-nice with it for a week or so. i'm gonna try to do 10 days, twelve if i can swing it. we'll see. i once did two weeks. i don't think i could do that again. i also promise to keep all the really gross stuff to myself.
in other news, it looks like i may be going back to ireland for two weeks in november! a group of some of my dearest friends in the whole wide world are going to be doing a pub tour (with their band) in western ireland starting in county clare. they asked if i wanted to tag along. answer: "you betcha". county clare is so beautiful and the thought of spending a couple of weeks with such dear folks in such a place is almost too freakin' cool to imagine. i can't wait. i want them to take a side trip to sark. that would be so rad.
